Thank you, Lenka and Tomáš,
the dark was a great gift to me, it brought hidden sides of me into the light to see.
Though more than the dark it was a hermitage I sought ,the dark freed me from every doubtful thought.
It took me under the black wings of night and showed the hidden core of things I’d struggled with for more than a few months’ time – in a single week the dark brought it all to light.
It showed me my own light, hidden and tucked away so deep inside. A light that shines on people and helps them heal their lives.
It showed me the power I hold within, and sketched out how to use it, where to begin.
Thank you, and thank you to the southern sanctuary, for that one and only week of dark. For your care and your support, which carried me to horizons of another sort.
The experiences I had there, though, I will keep to myself; they are personal, and for now I’ll keep them safe within myself.
Thank you once more for the journey through the dark, which was much more than a week away.
