At first it was boring. Apart from flickers before my eyes, not much was happening. What was interesting was how precisely you can remember every object and where it is in the dark.
In the dark I saw images
Over time, day and night began to merge…waking and sleeping…dreaming…beautiful and sad images.
My spatial memory started playing tricks; the little dark retreat cabin kept changing: once it had a baroque ceiling, another time there was sky and trees. A few times I bumped into the wall – the door was somewhere else 🙂
And once I woke up just like that…I was about 6 years old. I felt good. Like long, long ago…
The dark retreat ended; it went by quickly. The wonderful food and Tomáš’s kind support helped a great deal.
I left for home in the early morning
I went home. Work, duties, routine. Everything went back to the old ways…or did it?
I look at the surface of the water, at the little sparks of sunlight dancing on it. Or at the stars in the sky. Sometimes I feel that I’ve known it for a long time…long…long…known it.
Thank you, Lenka and Tomáš, for the chance to stop by with you 🙂
Take care
Květoš
