Hello Tomáš and Lenka,
I think back on my dark retreat and on you with love and great gratitude, and I love talking about it (which, oddly enough, comes easier to me than writing).
The darkness gave me exactly what it was meant to give me, and it hit exactly where it needed to. Only now, a year and a half later, can I smile at how furious my ego was, and how much it hurt, over a few sentences you said to me. I couldn’t bear it, I was angry and I was shouting no, no, that’s not how it is, they’re lying to me. Honestly, I felt you had ruined my dark retreat and that I never wanted to see or hear from you again. But that’s exactly what I went there for 😀 It took me a very long time to realise it had nothing to do with you, that this was what I needed, and that I had asked you for it long before!
