The place where Roman lives is, in his words, well suited to hosting dark retreats, and not only in his opinion but in that of the participants too. It’s a house with a garden by a stream at the scattered end of a village that already merges into meadows and woods. And in his garden stands a small house where the darkness therapy takes place, available to everyone.

Dark retreats can be booked for 1 week. You can equally book a dark retreat in Kozlovice for half a week, or even for a single day.
There are currently two “dark rooms” in operation. The garden house set up specifically for dark retreats is about 20 metres from the house where Roman lives, and there is also a separate room in the neighbouring, uninhabited wing of the house. Both darkness therapy rooms are simply but comfortably furnished: a bed or folding futons, an armchair, a rug, heating, a shower, a washbasin and a toilet. The garden house even offers a bidet, while the other room has a bit more space, above all for couples on a dark retreat. In both rooms you can lock yourself in and leave whenever you like. Once a day your guide through the darkness visits you with food and, as your carer, is happy to have a chat with you if you’d like, perhaps even about his own several experiences in the darkness.

The basic price is set at 1,000 CZK per day.
50% of the price is paid in advance when you book the retreat.
