Massages in the dark
During your dark retreat you can book a foot massage or a back and neck massage, subject to availability. In the dark, where nothing you see pulls at your attention, touch becomes more sensitive and the release goes deeper than it does in the light.
Each massage lasts about 30 minutes and costs 500 CZK. You arrange it directly with your guide on site, depending on how you feel during your stay.
Which massages you can treat yourself to
Foot massage
A massage of the soles of the feet brings grounding, a sense of stability, and gently awakens awareness of the whole body. In the dark, touch becomes even more sensitive and can support deep relaxation and inner calm.
Back and neck massage
A back and neck massage focuses on releasing the tension, stiffness and tiredness that so often settle in these areas. It helps deepen your rest, free your breathing, and give body and mind the recovery they need.

You are not alone in the dark
Lenka and I have been running dark retreats since 2013, and more than three thousand people have been through them. Your guide is there for you throughout your stay — bringing your meals, listening when you need it, and arranging a massage with you directly on site.
