Dear friends of dark retreats,

since some of you have had trouble finding the next free date, we have put together this overview, where you can see the next available dates for a dark retreat.

This page is updated once a day, so you always have a quick overview.

Provisional dates, shown in grey in the calendar, mean that someone has chosen that date for a dark retreat but has not yet paid the booking fee, which usually takes about a week. That is why you can sign up as a stand-in for such a date.

If none of the dates suits you, you can look further ahead; things tend to be freer two to three months out. And before you book a date, have a look at the rules on arrival and length of stay.

Length of stay

Terrified of the dark and want to break through that fear and prove to yourself you can do it? Arrival is always on a Tuesday.

Not sure whether a dark retreat is for you? Start with three nights — it is a full encounter with the darkness, you will get a good rest, and you can come for a week next time. Arrival on Wednesday or Saturday.

A complete immersion in the dark. Arrival on Saturday, occasionally on Wednesday. The most popular choice.

For repeat dark retreats, people usually choose a multiple of weeks. Arrival on Saturday. Recommended for experienced practitioners.

Coming solo or as a couple

A solo practitioner usually works on themselves, their feelings and their life situation.

Couples usually work on their relationship, deepening their bond and their love. That is why the Sanctuary of Love cabin is meant for couples.

Meals

Nothing to arrange or bring — vegetarian meals for the whole day.

You bring your own food, or you fast. An electric kettle is available.
